Margaret Adamczak
Artist’s point of view

I paint still life, interiors everything what could be connected to people’s life.
Every small item from every day life can play a very significant role in my painting. It is also connected to psychological side of human being. I have always been observing relatives life as a child. Since that time I wanted to “describe”, draw, paint, write. I have noticed that, an every step it is very important because of time. When I have painted “Parallel”…world I found out about Michael Heller.
He is a mathematician, an astronom and philosopher. He is an author of “Theory of strings”.  Since that day I was very glad I painted that picture.

I was drawing all the time. The most important thing it is an idea, then colour and expression of topic. Topic can be very simple but I am “collecting” them all the time. Even a small thing can be a reason to paint. There is one condition. I have to be moved, touched by something. I was always trying to “ catch time” in my paintings. Time in the morning and evening closed up in short every day situations. Paintings could be or should be about enjoyment of life. It is hard to achieve a good level of energy and skills to express thoughts, knowledge, an experience, artistic skills jointed together at the same time and put that on the canvas as a vision, idea compared in one drawing or colour.

I like to use palette knife and oil paint.
